Another flagship delivery under our Generators for Ukraine 2024 Appeal in the esteemed presence of Bristol’s Lord Mayor Cllr Andrew Varney.
A great, great, great day!
In the presence of Bristol’s Lord Mayor, our team of Volunteers and Donors gathered to bid Godspeed to Daniel Whitehead ⭐️ and Ian Rowels ⭐️⭐️⭐️ who began their journey From Bristol with Love for Ukraine.
Started by our team member Dr Ann Kennard, the Generators for Ukraine 2024 Appeal raised 34 generators in July and another 34 generators now in August. In total, including today’s consignment, we sent 223 generators.
These machines are absolutely vital for entire communities, schools and air raid shelters.
Many thanks to all our generous Donors and to our tireless Volunteers for making this consignment (our 72nd since the war began) possible.
Also to Bristol’s Lord Mayor Cllr Andrew Varney and the local Southmead Cllr Kaz Self for attending and ongoing support.
We had again a special moment by linking up with our Partners in Kiev and hearing live from them about the critical role these generators will play in the lives of displaced communities.
We gave special thanks above all and wished Godspeed to Ian and Daniel who embraced their loved ones and began the week-long journey to Romania and back.
