Our 65th delivery of aid consisted of another overland journey From Bristol with Love for Ukraine.
Our Transporters from Bristol to the Romanian City of Suceava this time were Uncle and Nephew, Geoff and David Szypuljack. With their roots going back to Ukraine before the Second World War Two, Geoff, at his third trip From Bristol with Love for Ukraine was keen to mark the two year anniversary of the war by fundraising and driving across Europe a van-load of aid. His nephew David also fund-raised and volunteered to drive too.
Geoff and David were also keen to cross the Carpathian Mountains and drive all the way to the Ukrainian border where they meet their Ukrainian counterpart.
The aid for this transport was almost entirely donated by shoppers at Tesco and Clifton shopping centre and was sorted and packed on the spot by our hard-working Volunteers. To Donors and Volunteers, a big thank you.
Special thanks to our Ukrainian Partners who transported it across the border and distributed to areas in desperate need in Ukraine.

Delivery No. 66
Delivery date: 24 February 2024
Delivery type: Local Purchase
Transporter: Yurii Karpiuk (Ukraine)
Approximate quantity: 250 boxes / 1,200 Kgs
Delivery contents: Food (Pasta and Dry Soups Sachets)
Our 66th delivery of aid was made in conjunction with the 65rd. We planned to coincide with the arrival in the border town of Suceava of our 65th delivery, both of them scheduled to cross into Ukraine on the 24th February – the two year commemoration of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
We allocated £4,000 from our resources and purchased an additional five pallets of food: 250 boxes of pasta and dry soups – a total of another 1,200 kgs. This meant that we could fill another van with food for the People of Ukraine.
This delivery of aid was possible due to our Donors’ generosity and the helpful assistance of IP and his Cash & Carry Team in Romania who offered excellent discounted prices and local Volunteers.
Special thanks to our Ukrainian Partners who transported it across the border and distributed to areas in desperate need in Ukraine.
Humanity will prevail!
