Delivery No.64

Delivery date: 5 January 2024
Delivery type: Local Purchase
Transporter: Yurii Karpiuk (Ukraine)
Approximate quantity: 250 boxes / 1,200 Kgs
Delivery contents: Food (Pasta and Dry Soups Sachets)

Our 64th delivery of aid was made in conjunction with the 63rd. Upon filling the Ukrainian van with aid, Pat and Simon noticed that there was plenty of room left.

So with our Board unanimous support, we allocated £3,000 from our resources and purchased an additional four pallets of food: 250 boxes of pasta and dry soups for the People of Ukraine – a total of another 1,200 kgs.

This ad-hoc delivery of aid was possible due to our Donors’ generosity and the helpful assistance of MM and his Cash & Carry Team in Romania who offered excellent discounted prices and local Volunteers.

Special thanks to our Ukrainian Partners who transported it across the border and distributed to areas in desperate need in Ukraine.

Please support our Charity: we need Donors, Transporters and Volunteers.

Delivery No.63

Delivery date: 3 January 2024
Delivery type: Overland
Transporter: Pat Nagle and Simon Moss (UK) + Yurii Karpiuk (Ukraine)
Approximate quantity: 130 boxes / 1,400 Kgs
Delivery contents: Toiletries, food, camping, first aid

Our 63rd delivery of aid consisted of another overland journey From Bristol with Love for Ukraine.

Our Transporters from Bristol to the Romanian City of Oradea this time were Pat Nagle and Simon Moss both at their second journey From Bristol with Love for Ukraine.

Once in Oradea the humanitarian consignment was collected by Yurii Karpiuk who crossed the Ukrainian/Romanian border, collected the aid and drove back across the Carpathians and into Ukraine.

This aid was almost entirely donated by shoppers at Tesco Superstore Bristol and was sorted and packed on the spot by our hard-working Volunteers. To Donors and Volunteers, a big thank you.

The funds for this journey were sourced again, by Pat’s and Simon’s Bristol Freemasons Brotherhood to whom we would like to express our thanks.

Special thanks to our Ukrainian Partners who transported it across the border and distributed to areas in desperate need in Ukraine.
